What are the benefits of being "Field Staff"
I've heard rumors but I've never heard it from the horses mouth - What do you blokes get in return for your efforts.

No where near the horses mouth..... but id assume there's brand exposure for them and cheap/free gear for you?

Also, depending on who you are a field staffer for, you may not have to use their products exclusively, as Pro staff or sponsored anglers do. |

I'm very much a sceptic when it comes to sponsored anglers. But I don't expect some one that was sponsored and thinks it's a crock will write it on here.
I suspect you will only get good feed back. |

Field staff have their place. Its usually considered as a stepping stone to a full sponsorship, kinda like a probation if you like. The angler is expected to do the same things as a pro staffer and receives product at a reduced rate and usually free shirts hats etc..
Some anglers prefer the field staff option as its less pressure then pro staff.

The field staffer that catches fish and uploads them on the social media sites like breammaster and Facebook can also be a very effective marketing tool!! |

Thanks for the replies and PM's fellas - I have a much clearer picture of what Field Staff do for companies and what they get in return.
