Hi mate,Iv never used nanofill,but have only heard bad things about it,my mate,had used it but quickly took it off and replaced it with Frog braid.
Another good braid thats also a bit light on the old wallet is Power Pro braid,cast light lures well,with minimum line twists and tangles.

Sunline Super PE is a good value for money line and very popular with guys on this site.
I like this stuff in 8lb.

Braid

Used power pro didn't like the way it cast and came of the spool.
Changed over to fire line exceed tournament,can't fault the line
So far,cast great and comes of the spool smooth.No wind
Nots yet ,for the price it's a great braid.

Cheers Shane

same i got the power pro bite motion in the 3lb and i hate it as i can only get about 5 casts with it before the wind knots start showing up i find it to be a waste of money

In a good 12 months of using power pro in varying breaking strains I probly had 3 wind knots, due to an error on my part. I reckon it's great line particularly around structure as I find it a bit more abrasive resistant than say toray radius or other finer pe style lines..

Fire line exceed was one of the worst braids I have ever used,it broke quite a few times when I was hooked up,and it was breaking in the braid it self not the leader knot! Costing me a few lost fish with my lures still in there gob The first session with it I thought it was great,but come the second and third session I was over it! I quickly replaced it with Frog braid and have never looked back

I've got 4 lb Nanofil on a 1000 size reel and like it despite some of the negative feedback have had no dramas with it. It does have a bit of memory though.
Sunline Super PE is nice but the best braid Ive used is this YGK Grand PE WX4. Its around $110 for 300 meters but its superfine and handles very well.

I've used castaway 10lb, its light strong and casts great. Line lay is perfect and doesn't cut in like some others.

I usually use sunline PE but gave nanofil a try. Didnt like it much. Knot strength wasnt great, the feel wasnt as good as braid and it frayed on me really quickly. I switched back to PE pretty quickly

I've used nanofill and the knot strength is crap.The best braid I;ve used is O'Dragon very thin for its breaking strain.

you should try for yourself since there are many many mixed responses as to what line people like to use ..

first of all, i will have to assume you are using small 1000/1500/2000/2500 sized spinning reels and 1-4 kg rods. i'd get any of these lines .. in increasing price order

* 3lb/5lb powerpro - hit and miss sometimes it twists, sometimes doesnt.. go figure. in 10lb upwards it's great
* stren microfuse 2/3/4 lbs
* berkley tournament exceed 4 lbs minimum (as it gets fairly thin)
* super pe 8lb 4 strand
* toray radius 10lb 8 strand
* castaway pe 10lb

from here, you can get into the exy lines which i wouldn't bother with. where do you guys get frog pe ? on the bay ?never had problems with any of these lines listed above

have no experience with nanofil but from what i have read .. it's no go for me. hope that helps
