new rod for HBs

I am interseted in getting a new rod for fishing with HB lures. need something that will cast well and have plenty of power to pull fish away from snags, structure etc. Lighter the better without comprising power. Price range looking at aprrox 200 to 450 dollars.

Any recommendations ?

From my end, I would recommend the BreamReaper 6'6". It had plenty of butt strength and plenty of pulling power. The finesse tip means you don't lose the feel.

I own a G-Loomis SJR720 GL2. Great lil HB's rod. Costs about $250.
Even better though is the same rod in GL3 or IMX. I've used the IMX and feel that it is the Best HB's I've used to date. Not cheap though.

HTH
