Question tuning a lure

I bought a river 2 sea static shad in gold and red today and after a few casts it started lying on once side as well as skipping at the surface a bit before diving. I don't recall hitting a snag with it or anything but was wondering how I go about tuning it to swim straight again? Do I bend the the front eyelet a little?

I'm with Timbo here... if the lure is running along the bottom it does tend to lay on its side a bit. I wouldn't let this bother you because they still pull fish when bouncing along the bottom like this.

As for skipping across the surface before diving, that could be anything. It could be momentarily laying on it's side before the bib kicks in, or your leader caught in one of the trebles for a brief moment before righting itself. I've had this happen a lot with them. Stress less!

hey david. remember how dad mine was today. i just moved the eyelit to the oppistite side it was turning on and it fixed it (after some testing in the pool)

What was happening with both of ares is that it was turning so far to one side that the bib wasnt facing down at the water so it would go down. If u want i can fix it for u next time we go fishing or just get those plyers out.

Oh and i took off the the frount split ring as well
