Catching fish on my Stinger hooks
Managed to get amongst a few bream on the weekend and finally got a real chance to give my stingers hooks a go. Mounted to the back of the bent minnow they managed to land a few bream up to 32cm fork. They stood up well and am pretty happy with the result.
20130112_192745.jpg Have been experementing with a few different materials other than spinnerbait skirting. I made this one with red crystal flash, used in fly tying. Looked good in the water and had a nice action as well. |

Nice work mate! I have done the same befor with 60lb red braid I bought off eebay with owner hooks and skirting material
The only problem I found is making them consistently the same length Cheers Pete |
