Okuma Inspira 15
Anyone played with one of these new toys yet? Any comments on what they are like?

Before I say anything, I am sponsored by The Freetime Group (Okuma) so take this with a grain of salt
Personally, they rock I've been playing with one for a while now and am very impressed - my Epix20 did me proud for years, and I was lucky enough to score one of the overseas EpixEF 15's, the Inspira 15 is very similar. Here's a couple of Yank reviews: http://www.riversmallies.com/guestrev_bschultz8.html http://www.riversmallies.com/forums/...wtopic=1935&hl The second one was pretty interesting I find the drag (as with all Okuma products) very good, and I'm not known for my reel maintenence ability The price is excellent (around the $190 mark) and, in my opinion, is excellent value for money. As a sidenote, this is the only reel I will be using in the Tournaments this year - Cost for a well performing tournament reel is irrelevent to me, you need the gear to do the job I believe the Inspira is as good as some other reels out there at double the price, it may not be as pretty, but function says it all to me One last thing, a pet hate of mine is poor quality spare spools. With the Inspira, for once a manufacturer supplies an identical spare spool, Titanium coated spool lip and all Cheers,

Thanks Dave,
I should have one tomorrow and at $160 sounds like I got a bargain. Sounds like a shame I bought it for the wife...... Finney |
