anyone got any pointers on gear needed to paint transparent lures?
g'day guys, I bought an airbrush a while ago and have quite a few lures that are half bare/clear from the odd fish mauling and rock skuff
I'd like to rub them back to clear and give them all a fresh new look but I'm unsure of what paint +clear coat required for the job... any ideas guys? |

I use "AutoAir" paints from www.airbrushwarehouse.com.au and then use a 2 pac Clear Coat.

![]() oh +I looked up prices and thought it would be a tad expensive, then realised that the amount of paint needed per lure would be bugger all on a sidenote, the paint looks similar to the flexible stuff hobby R/C guys use for thier car shells and stuff... maybe i can tax some off my brother to test my skills before lashing out ![]() +pretty stoked, I just got my open riders license yesterday ![]() ![]() I would love to custom the tin on my roadbike when i get one, this airbrushing stuff is sounding more and more appealing !
