repairs to fibre glass hull

Got a few "abrasions" on the hull of my glass boat, about the sze of a 50 cent piece, not very deep any suggestions re repair? any products? to coat on

i'd tape around the area, sand it out and a small amount of the surrounding area, blow it out with air, clean with acetone, then brush on flowcoat (same as gelcoat but with wax in styrene) you can use acrylic , the clear stuff that toys ect come in or wax paper or some garbage bag, pulled tight, once set take of the cover, sand with wet and dry paper, then cut and polish and wax and buff. you tube is worth watching too

make sure you use flowcoat not gelcoat!

You can use gel coat just need to add the wax in styrene. Boys are onto it with the flowcoat and it will sand a little easier as well. Make sure to use a hard block to rub it back

flowcoat is gelcoat with wax/styrene added, you can use gelcoat, i have done so and used wet/dry paper with water to sand of, lot of work and a lesson learnt, gelcoat is best used inside of molds then fibreglass.
