Hey guys

Still working as fast as we can to deliver stock of the New CRANKA Crab!

Will be certain to let you all know as soon as they are available!

Backwards walk / Defensive crab stance has already been explained in original post but for those interested... we have designed our CRANKA Crab to walk backwards for very good reasons... we have found through extensive study of the behaviour of crabs that when threatened they will raise their claws in defense and walk / shuffle backwards away from their attackers!... almost like they are keeping their eyes on the fish that is trying to eat them!

Yes we all know that crabs walk sideways when not being threatened but our CRANKA crab is not designed to represent a happy crab who's out for a stroll!... its designed to represent a defensive Crab as the bream expect to see them react in nature!.. hope this clears up the backwards versus sideways walk queries?

Trust me we can't wait to bring these lures to you all so please be patient as we are doing our best to deliver stock ASAP!

Cheers
Steersy
CRANKA

If you "youtube" - "running crab" - theres alot of evidence to support what you say

If you "youtube" - "defensive crab" - there evidence that will support that aswell

And if you "youtube" - "Crab bites soldier in the nose" you'll see this....

bhahahaha, who lets a crab bite their face? crazy russians do!
+ if you type in crab prank you will find this!

Now back to the lure/ crab movement
I typed it in on youtube and saw pretty much same as ive seen in the wild... sideways LOL

'defensive crab':
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iZ3BSyaDfYY
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9fpRVKn4xc0

'defensive crab swim':
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=x54-O5wuhaM
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=u7pKmiKq7Ko

'crab swim backwards', 'defensive crab backwards', 'crab walk backwards': yielded zero results LOL

me thinks I'll have the edge over most guys!
when I buy a cranka crab I'll be tying my leader to the nipper/treble ring as a towpoint
