The most underrated lure in your Bream box
Rather than have the weekly whats your favourite lure thread, I thought I'd start a thread to discuss the lures that you use regularly that are under rated.
They can be from major brands, but it might be a particular model that doesn't get a lot of attention or perhaps they are lures that were popular but they are no longer used too often. Anyway here is my top 5 most underrated bream lures: 1) Cranka Shad: probably gets more of work out on the yellowfin but for black bream I personally never here of it getting used too often. They are effective over the flats and a an excellent lure to parallel cast. 2) Lucky craft Flash Minnow: one of my first shallow jerkbaits that i turn to on the flats. Their natural colours are realistic and they always seem to produce the goods for me. My 2nd biggest fish of 43ttf was caught on one of these 3) Lucky craft Humpback Minnow: Mico-lite lure that I use when the fish are shut down or when they are particularly fussy. Quite hard to cast because they are so light, but the blacks seem to inhale them. 4) Bassday Sugar deep 35F: A lot of people seem to have these lures in their tackle box but I very rarely hear of people having a lot of success on them. I use them when the fish are sitting in 4-5ft of water. Use a bit of sticky weight to keep them in the strike zone for longer. Because they are small shut down fish will often eat them. 5) Bushy Stiffy Minnow: I still have 5-6 of these in my box. They don't get much of a workout these days, but they were what I used to get all my fish on 3-4 years ago. Blacks inhale them, and they have a big wide wiggle. good value for money, but they often have to be tuned before you swim them. would love to hear other peoples thoughts

Strike Pro Bass X, great lures, colours have not been that great in the past but with the new range that problem is sorted
Stiffy minnows, i agree another lure that often gets overlooked. Juro Firebaits, one of the best plastics out there imo, they were discontinued but are now back with some great new colours. These would be my top three i think

I've had a bit of success on Maria lures, but I haven't see many people catching fish on them, only a couple.

Zipbait skinny pop probably, I even underrate it myself, but whenever I throw it it catches fish, yet it is never the first tied on.
