Accidently bought Damiki MU-SS instead of SP

I realise this is discontinued, and didnt realise B-C-F still had these ones. I assumed they were all SP. I realise these ones are the slow sinking, and the new ones are Suspending. Anyone used these ??? HOw should they be worked ?

I'm pretty sure its originally designed as a trout lure, so they should still be suspending in salt water. If you work it with the same twitch-twitch-pause method as the suspending, you should be fine. Just make sure you give it a good crank to get it down after it hits the water.

THanks Scope. Yeah i think it originally had red singles on them. But this one had trebles. I was asking as it it meant to be a 50cm diver, but then slow sinking ??? So if i retrieve then stop, it will sink, and them go deeper than 50cm ? They gotta be one of the best looking and constructed cranks i have seen.

Yeah I'm pretty sure the model you have will still suspend rather than sink. What I meant before is that it is designed as a fresh water lure, and as salt water is denser than fresh, the sink rate will be a lot less than if you used it in the fresh.

I have both models in my tackle box and can't really notice too much difference when using them.

So it only dives to 50cm still ? Be interesting to see what happens in the estuary, Maribyrnong etc where the fresh/salt fluctuates hehe.
