which ci4?

Hi, can't decide on which reel to buy. Shimano stradic ci4 or rarenium ci4 in the 1000 size. Is the rarenium better for lures cause of the slower gear ratio?
And if anyone got one to off-load, please PM.
Thanks

Go for something different again and import yourself a Cardiff CI4 1000

Or a Vanquish CI4 1000.........

Just googled both reels, I really like the Vanquish! but both out of my price range for a 1000 size.

I prefer the Stradic's over Rarenium's but grab them both and have a feel for yourself.

The faster ratio of a Ci4 is suited to plastics and blades.
Rareniums are better for hardbodys.
Just depends on which you do more of really.
