Hey mate yeh they truly are sensational thats for sure. Of late, I have caught barramundi, salmon, grunter, trapon, cod and bream on these little beauties. Particularly the 3 inch atomic plazo prong in carolina pumpkin holograph colour. I hook them weedless on a 2/0 - 3/0 Gamakatsu worm hook. They would have to be the best prawn imitations on the market in my honest opinion

Ghost pearl is excellent when water still cold. Only used them last few months and look great in the water. I shorten their heads a lil and put on on a resin head jighead. Great for pitching under piers etc.

They apparantly have a scent in them, but i cannot smell it even after cutting it............

You can't go wrong with plazoz prongs mate. I would use Carolina pumpkin holo and Old Penny in normal water clarity, motor oil gold in stained water and Grey Ghost in clear water.
Cheers

Will they dry out like most of the water based SP?

No, they won't. They are made of different type of plastic than waterbased.

Love these plastics. Catches a wide variety of fish in both salt and fresh. Only prawn/shrimp plastic I use now.

He gave an exapmle of how he worked it in his report mate, just had it rigged weightless and let it sink in the shady areas around the boat hulls, couple of flicks and on.

Depends where you want to fish them, if your thinking of using them around the jetties here then a similar technique to this would be the go, most bream will take placcies on the drop in this environment so not a lot of action required usually.

Prongs are great. That ghost pearl colour works well and motor oil as well. I caught an octopus on one too. Thing I like about them is that its impossible to foul them up on your hook when casting and they have plenty of moving parts.
