Epix EB Maintenance

Hi,
I've had my EB 20 for a few months now. It's cleaned and lightly oiled after each session and is still running like a dream but I'd like to do some internal lubrication/maintenance. Getting the side plate off seems to be fairly involved though due to the baitfeeder lever being an obstruction. Can any EB owners who do their own maintenance give me some advice? Suitably looked after I think this reel should last many years and I see maintaining good tackle as an enjoyable way of spending time that's not spent on the water. All help will be appreciated.
