Stessco catcher 450rv owners....advice needed

Hi guys im looking at purchasing a stessco catcher 4.5rv
Has anyone here owned one or have one that can share
some thoughts on the hull. Are these boats stable etc.
Im looking at putting either a 50hp 2 stroke or 4 stroke yammy on it.
Also open for suggestions im looking at spending up to 18k on hull and motor
wanting cast decks, tiller style boat, storage etc.
Also looking into a ipilot at the sydney boat show to go with
the rig so needing a boat with electric motor mount on the front.

Cheers
jase

Hey mate,
If ya check out the link below to a previous thread on here, there is photos of what my 450sf catcher started out like, with a couple of photos through the build to just about finished boat. As for stability they are very stable, but that also can be affected by how you weight the boat out. I use mine for mainly river and bay work but have no qualms in venturing out wide on a good day weather permitting. Great style boat to get outside jigging among-st the big boats and be able to sit on top of the wrecks with the leccy. Mine only has a 40hp Yamaha 4-stroke but does it comfortably. Rides well in in a bit of chop and is still a great boat for getting up in the shallows in that's your game. Choose to do all the deck work myself as it was too pricey and hard to relay what you want to the builder. But have had it on the water for 7 months now and can't fault it.
