New boat recommendations?

In the market for a boat, budget around 20k, can spare a few extra thousands for the right boat but rather put that aside for an electric and sounder.

Preferable something around 4m plus, maybe a mako or quintrex tourny.

Motor wise, thinking an evinrude 40 hp, what do you guys recommend?

what are you targeting and where?

Preferance for side/centre console or an open layout.

glass or aluminium?

Either way there is plenty of options within your budget!

Just estuary, freshwater dams.

Either material is good, probably leaning towards alloy just for it being lighter.

centre console, motor steer, doesn't bother me at all.

Just the best value for.money I can find really.

I would be checking this out, light weight and sounders and everything you need ready to go. Looking forward to seeing one of these in the flesh some day soon.

TABS Bullshark, tiller steer or side console, 75 litre live well, big front casting deck, reasonable rear deck, max rating 50 hp for the 4.2 version etc.

Should be able to negotiate one of those on a good trailer with a 40 hp 2 stroke, minn kota, live well plumbed, nav lights & good sounder-combo & other options within your $20k

Obviously I am biased, I have one ...and am loving it.
