yeh same, i take the split rig off the black swan bent minnows, use a loop knot.

keep the clip on it helps draw them under the surface, with that little extra weight on the nose. I personally haven't had any problems with the clips braking or fish spooking away from them either.

Anyone seen or heard of a larger sw model sporting upgraded hardware?

I read in a previous thread they were on the horizon

There is a 106SW version already
it has beefier trebles but not like a ST66 or anything.


Keep an eye out for more sizes in the future.

theres a 110mm model, has the upgraded hardware, ask for it by name, black swan bent minnow, mo tackle has them, best value bent minnow on the market

I run mine withOUT the clip an a loop knot
you dont wanna hook a jack n have alot of pressure on that lil wire clip
not worth it to me
