Looks like the yakkers did it fairly tough,we know Tom Shuiling from Compleat Nedlands livewell tipped over and he lost a 43cm amonst others i believe, shows he can fish any river system and looking forward to haveing him in the boats soon.

Well done Jake for the win (he is now looking at getting a boat)

When done to the two yakkers that made the trip from Geralton and one from Albany,,a lot of yakkers are away on a trip to Exmouth and wilderness island(Annual event)other wise we would have seen a heap more.

This is the last yak Tournament for the year, shame as the year is not even half over,,see everybody again some time,,,

Was thinking of doing the Murray again this year as well, with a higher tide and no wind in the morning would have been fine and a gentle tail wind on the way back. Last year I would have made it back just on time if I hadn't made a wrong turn and missed the actual estuary. Its a long way though. I just wanted one more fish. I wasted a lot of time in areas that had a lot of underside bream and my more productive spot didn't fire when I was there.
