Lowrance/Yamaha Fuel Interface

OK I bought the fuel flow interface to go between my Yamaha F70 4 stroke & my HDS unit:



Here is the coupling area on the Yamaha engine where the other cables go into the motor:



I've taken the cover off the motor & had a look around & it wasn't obvious but now that I look at the photo there is the one black plastic plug (see photo above) between the two existing cables that run though the bracket to get inside the motor cover housing. Does this just pull out so you can insert the cable? I presume I should plug it up with sickaflex to finish it off yeah?

I've also got the "starter kit" that this connects to the LSS1 to make the Lowrance NMEA 2000 Network backbone - that part is easy.

Has anyone else done this with a Yammy? Cheers.
