Collectors can be crazy?
Came across this blog. Interesting to see the old lures but holy crap check out the $ on some of them.
http://toughlures.com/blog/ $30 is probably as high as I would go for a lure. HOW MUCH WOULD YOU SPEND ON ONE LURE? If its over $100. Love to see a pic |

Have a few carpenter sea frogs and carpenter gammas. They are hand crafted gt poppers/stick baits that retail for over 125 bucks. Not too sure why I brought them, nothing else is my GT collection is over 50!

That'd be those crazy yank bass fishermen collecting antique lures. I doubt any of those will see the water in a hurry. I only go for bream, flathead & tailor on lures regularly so I have no need to spend more than $30 on any lure & I very rarely part with more than $20. My average is probably somewhere around $15. If I was into some of the northern species I could see myself going as high as $50 but certainly no more than that.

I started collecting some old lures a while back but haven't got any for months. Here is my flopy collection. I paid just over $100 for the mint one in its pack.
