The model that most caught my eye was the Jackall Chubby look alike. They look great with a pretty decent looking range of colours. |

I haven't fished them before, but i contacted tackleworld last week as i wanted to know if they stocked cranka's, and the guy told me that Saku have been getting heaps of bream in the ABT and they are only $12.95. I'll definitely buy a few to test out

I bought couple today to try them out. The hooks are pretty sharp but I wonder if they will last as they seem pretty thin
Might try them in some racks this weekend ![]() Pete |

I bought one of the chubby rip offs to try out last week, i cant tell the difference when its beside a genuine chubby. They are exactly the same shape wise and the colours seem good, the quality of the plastic is no where near as good as the jackall stuff, but what do you expect for your $12. They will be my new go to lure for bass, just about sick of losing $50 worth of lures every bass session...

Grabbed a few last week and gave them a go over the weekend and must say for the price I think there worth it. I used the chubby knock off and the sx40 knock off and caught fish on both. They both swam straight out of the packet and the action was good, not quite as good as the originals in terms of quality but for the 12.95 I paid i'm happy with them.

They must be pretty good then, because i have some lures about the same price, and if you retrieve too quickly, it swims to its side! I can't be stuffed tuning my lures half the time!
I'm getting a few now!

Tried the purple shrimp one in the deep diver crank Friday arvo.
Caught bream from 3inches to 28cm fork Cast really well, it dived to a good depth and if shimmed like other cranks It had a nice tight action. I don't own any chubbies so I carnt do a comparison but compared to a crank and an atomic it stacked up ok IMO My favourite is still the cranka but these r a good lure for the $ Hope to give them more of a go during the week Oh yer. They even catch flathead !!!!!! |
