Daiwa Theory
Hey guys, just wandering if anyone knows about or has looked at the "Daiwa theory" I was told it is between the Capricorn and TDS.
It seems to have all the features of the capricorn and looks quite flash, I just haven't heard anything about them before. Any opinions? Still trying to figure out wether to get a sustain or go the daiwa option with either the capricorn or this new one. Looking at a 7ft bream buster for the rod Any ideas Cheers Captain |

Captain, Sustain, Sustain, Sustain.
Don't bother with a Crapricorn!!!!!! I still have my old Stradic thats 4 times older than my Crapricorn and still works better than it. I have had my sustain for about 6 months now and its Great Totally recommend the Sustain, I wish I could aford the Stella Cheers Nick |

Thanks nick, great picture by the way real nice fish.
Yeah I really like the sustain All my other reels are shimano and have been really happy with the quality, but as always the price differences are causing me to look at the Diawa's. I don't mind spening the money if it's the best in that price range but if the daiwa's are the same quality and cost less I'd prefer them. Is the capricon in the same quality braket as the sustain? NO WAY!!!! The Sustain is much better, mind you it costs a lot more around $460 compared to about $300 for the Crapricorn.
You only have to pick one up and spin the handle, that's about all you need to do to realise how good the reel is. Cheers Nick |

What size reel are you using? 2000? What rod have you matched it to? Cheers Captain |

I use the 1000 Sustain with a G-Loomis SJR 6400 IMX, very light and very sexy
Very light, very sensitive with the ability to land big bream, great stuff Nick |

A 1000! really
Now that would light, what was your reason for the 1000, trying to keep the wait down and no need for extra line? Have you ever been stretched by a big fish due to the smaller capacity of the reel? |

No not yet, makes it a lot more exciting with the lighter gear,
My main reason was weight, my whole rod and reel combo weighs less than 300grams. After fishing solid for 7 hours in a comp you start to appreciate the lighter gear. Cheers Nick |
