How's my reel...........

I just started bream fishing with lures and am going to buy a new rod and reel.
But i already have a Penn 1500 Power Graph reel and I'm wondering is this reel good enough not too buy another one yet?

Chris, I'm not familiar with that particular reel, but size wise at least it looks to be the goods.

If its definitely in good working order I would be tempted to keep it and concentrate on getting a nice rod, particularly if your having to work to a budget.

Bud, if thats the case definitely keep the reel and only look at rods.

If you can, stop into the shop and see Geoff, he's got some relatively inexpensive rods that will still do the job for you - make sure you take the reel in too, so you can feel how the whole combo will balance up.
