Hornet Trophy 450 V's 480

Hi all,

Recently sold my 425 Allycraft Shadow Mirage after 10yrs. Really only sold it due to age, was getting tired of the tiller and manual tilt on the 40HP Yami and was annoying getting wet when the wind came up and motoring along.

Looking to go to a Trophy 450 or 480. I am a River/Estuary fisherman and spend a lot of time trolling over shallow water flicking.

What are peoples thoughts on these 2 hulls for at times some very shallow fishing? I would also be maxing out the motor with Yami 4 stroke. I am kinda keen on the 450 with the new Yami 70Hp 4 stroke but could be tempted to go up if I didn't lose any shallow depth of fishing in the 480 with max Yami HP on the back.

What options do ppl get with the Hornet these days?

Cheers

Finney
