Berkley 3b Fatdog Cranks deep are very underated....
A slow roll is a great retrieve, but also a roll pause roll pause, if you feel any hits just stop the retrieve for a few seconds then continue winding. All the colours work, you can see what my faves are by these pics. In the last few months caught hundreds of Bream on them, a personally favourite crankbait. Cheers Mitch! ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()

They are cheap as chips. I'm going to have to invest in a few. Any colours you prefer?

Haha there all Gippy bream mate
If you have facebook check me out most of my pics go up there rather than forums! A basic slow roll is an awesome way and should work well. A pause every now and then is great if they are tentative!Cheers Mitch |

cheers mate. How do they swim straight out of the packet? Do they need a bit of tweaking?

Always use em straight out of the packet never had a problem. My go to rockwall/flats lure now. Good for chucking at snags when you dont want to lose a $25 chubby. There will worth the money!

I have had most success with the scum dog in hooch and bitza for whiting and bream of the surface. Also have had some luck with the elongated pop dog for bream using a slow bloop and pause retrieve - mostly in the later afternoon for some reason.

Going by the web site the 3B Crank Bait is a floating lure.
What is the float like, do you need to use weight to slow it down at all?

I've added weight to them, it does make a little difference but for a basic slow roll, no weight is needed. I like them better without the weight, but thats just me.

I don't like them at all, had three and all swam on their side. Atomic hardz are a much better lure for the same price in my opinion. Each to their own though.
