Difference between the Shimano Soare here & o/s models?
May I ask what's the difference between the original soare and the BB?? Are they both made in Japan??
Is the one sold here better quality because quality is everything for me, I've seen the overseas model for half the price as what they're sold here but cosmetically they look different is the one here a better model and could it be bought cheaper than the $600 dollar mark when purchased from overseas also when a Stella can almost fit the value purchase can anyone please advice me on this subject thank you. Mate, massive difference between the 3 JDM Soare's. The BB is the cheapy, made in Malaysia but I had a play with one in Hong Kong a few months back and it felt awesome for the hundred or so bucks they were asking. The CI4 is the next step up in the trio. Again, Malaysia made, but veeery nice and bloody hard to find to boot. The white Soare is the top of the tree and from what I understand is a tricked up Twinpower so it is Japanese made. Itr is a ridiculously smooth reel, but definitely not better than a Stella. Bear in mind that these JDM's like Soare, Complex etc. are a few years old now and don't have X-Ship which makes quite a difference.
