2stroke oils

Anyone recommend an oil that could help stop fouling plugs? My little suzi5 doesnt enjoy the low revs lately, been using a servo spec oil and looking for something with a bit better quality.

quicksilver marine lubricants,, make sure it is outboard 2 stroke oil,, you can't use motorcyle 2 stroke oil in outboards, but you can use outboard oil in bikes just in case you did'nt know

I believe suzuki use Motul marine oil's,should be easy enough to find, even if you just run yamaha oil or as breamin said quicksilver (mercury/mariner),you should atleast be getting a better product, than the more generic/universal products.

Hi Jim1

I have used a few different oils trying to sort out my Yamaha CV25 which are notorious oiling plugs and found that the Quicksilver the best, it seemed to produce alot less smoke than the recomended Yamlube.

Quicksilver is Brilliant on my Mercury. It didn't like Shell or Valvoline. Took longer to start, and smoked a crap load more at start up.

If you have a standed 2 stroke you could look at using Opti Oil. This is a high grade 2 storke oil which can be used on 2stroke outboards except oil injected as there is another version of it. I just started using it and my Yamaha smokes a lot less and runs much better. It can be even run a 100:1 but i am not that brave yet.

Cheers
Tim
