Anymore Sneakys ???

Hi Everyone

I have got my hands on a 35 sneaky ( i usually fly fish but i was on holidays and went to lures). I love the 35 good results. but i did pick up a old 52 scorpion and found the weight is excellent but it floats like a balloon comes out of the depths really quick.

Would halco produce/extended the 'snaeky' modifications into other sizes great for a 52's, Pros and possibily the poltergeist?
Maybe sneaky modifications to larger sized lures for barra the applications are endless.

Cheers

Hi Stuie,

Halco have made the Tilsan Bass neutrally bouyant. They own Tilsan along with RMG. It is a 55cm deep diving minnow that has accounted for more than it's fair share of big bream.

Warren.

Hi warren

The tilsan bass would be excellent as a large bream lure.

Would Halco ever think of going sneaky on other lures? The only reason i ask is i believe the sneak 35 is far better in most situations over the regular floating 35.

Cheers

Try modifying the Laser Pro 45. I have and it works a treat, the lure works very well as a sinker model but also when altered just adds to arsenal.
When using the 45 sinking model if you wish to fish it shallow just hold the rod tip up and this will restrict it's depth.

Much prefer the LP45 to the Scorpion 35. Just need to convince Halco to increase the colour range.

A few years ago I tried to get Ben(Halco) to make some protoypes in Scorp 68 and 52 suspenders. It did not happen as the then revamped Laser Pro 190DD's were due to release, and what a success they have become.

Its a little strange that halco hasnt increased the colour range or even gone for blank models for thoes DIY out there, im not slagging Halco great product.

I will have a crack at altering a laser pro 45 sinker.

Maybe i will go back my flies easier.
