2010 caldia,new freams or ballistic

The wife is gonna get me a new reel for xmas. It needs to be around the 2500 size for big flatties and bass, but will also be used for ep's and bream. So I guess I need and all rounder with a good drag. I like the ballistic 2500 but it only has 4 kg drag. The new freams has 7kg drag but only 5 bearings.(but looks awsome) In saying this I saw a white caldia 2506 in my local for 180 bucks. But again less drag .would it cope with big flatties or bass in timber? If I got the freams could I get a spare spool and run 2kg and 5kg braid ? Need some input to make my decision guys ta

4kg of drag would very very easily handle big flatties and as for bass in timber, i would prob say you would stop most fish and the ones u dont stop arent gonna be due to the reel. i havent had a chance to play around with any of the new daiwas but they should all be pretty sweet. ive got 2 luvis and a certate and have never had a prob with the drags even when chasing school jew or jigging for bream around pylons

It's strange how the ballistic only has 4 kg of drag.
You'd think having more bearings then the freams it would have the higher drag.
The ballistic must be more of a finnes reel.
Just wandering if the freams spool would fit on the ballistic to give it the extra drag.

In saying that I've caught heaps of chunky salmon on my 2000 Caldia kid with out a problem and that only has 4 kg of drag.
