Difference Between 2 Blade & 3 Blade Prop

Hi All

Not sure if this question has been asked before but I was wondering why and if and what is the advantage of a 2 blade prop on a Minn Kota Vs the 3 blade prop on the Water Snakes.

From my way of thinking the smaller diameter prop is better so that it has less things to hit or a smallet surface are to cut through the weed.
