Jack lures

Hey breammaster,
I really wanna land my first jack this summer, and was wondering if anyone could recommend some good jack lures.
The smith cherry blood, seems to go hand in hand when anyone mentions jack lures. Any others?
Cheers stealth.

I'm in the same boat stealth, but I've watched my mate land 2 jacks in the last week on a red osp powerdunk and know of a bunch of other fish to fall to them as well. Deffinatly worth a look

a madd mullet by lively lures always manages a few jacks, im sure people wouldnt wanna go loosing expensive lures so the mad mullet retails at around $13 which isnt that badd.

Killalure Flats Rats, River Rats & T2s. Lively Lures Mad Mullet. Tilsan Barra. Are just a few that make up my small Jack collection.

Cheers fellas, seem to be a few jacks being taken on the power dunks. MattS seems to be slaying them on the zmans too. Do the mad mullets cast ok? I've had some smaller ones, but they were a really light lure.
I should of said earlier I'm mainly landbased so something that's cast well helps. Thanx for the advice so far keep em coming.

Try some plastics, I find the 80-100m squidgy fish to be fairly effective slow rolled over the snags, A mate has recommended tsunami hollowbellies copys too. I will be testing out a few this coming weekend.

Hollowbellies, wrigglers, flick baits, thready busters, flat rats, tilsan barra, bombers, prawnstars, anything else that looks like a prawn, squidgy fish, slick rigs (with the lead cut right down), reidys little lucifer, x-raps... Arrg, I'll stop there. Jacks aren't finicky in my experience, put it in front of their face and if they're in the mood they'll bite.
