i too use the gamas, i bought some home made jigs off ebay once but they are no way near as strong as the gamas (they bend really easily) nor as sharp- need to file them every time where as i use the gamas straight out of the packet. but hey you get what you pay for- i got 20 jigs for the price of 5.

the nitros are meant to be built on a gama hook so im sure they would be good as well.

hi
i like the gamas for trebles and jigheads.i aslo like the squidgy jigheads as they only have a small keeper barb.they hold the plastic on and dont tear it apart like some of the others.although they do bend a lot easier then the others.

I only use jig heads with forged hooks. Aberdeen hooks are great if you are fishing for crappie or bluegill but as a bream hook they are less then acceptable.

I use gamas and squidgy heads. Though I have some Bassmaster jigheads that I'm waiting to try out. These should be good as they are made on Mustad Aberdeen hooks.
