New Shimano Stradic FJ range!

Hey guys,

I've just had a play with the new FJ range of the Shimano Stradic that has just arrived in store and I have to say that I was very impressed. The colour has gone back to being a white body but the big improvement is the indroduction of X-Ship to the Stradic range. Previously only in the Stella FE I believe, this has made the reel feel much smoother and has less play in the spool. Come in and have a play, currently there is the 1000FJ, 3000FJ, 4000FJ and 5000FJ models in stock with the rest of the range coming soon!

I'll have to check when I get in to work as I've had a mental blank, but I believe the price is similar to the FI range. We still have a few FI's left as well, so if you want one, we can do a good price.

The 5000 is one of my favourites too, very smooth and now comes with a much nicer knob, a slightly smaller version of what was on the 6000 and 8000FI models rather than a T shape one

Was just in my local CA and they had a 1000 and a 2500 both for ~$250. They were too busy and I had to get back to work to have a play but the white colour looks great.

Yea we have ours for close to the same price as the FI's, but being a new reel and they do cost more, so not all stores may do the same price. We don't have the 2500 yet, it was ordered with the rest of the range (1000-8000, same range as FI), but not all are available at once and we will have them ASAP. Our 1000 and 2500FI were under $200, and FJ is very similar.
