ecogear vx vibes

Hey guys. Anyone used the vx vibes from ecogear? The ones with the trailing hooks, any good or snag magnets

it is the zx models that come standard with trailing hooks although u can change these to any other lure. as for snags i have found them pretty good. for sum reason i have still had more success of the vx models on bream though.

They are an awesome lure mate. I prefer the larger models now especially the Black around Muscle encrusted pylons and pontoons. I've found them to be a bit more snag resistant than most blades but still would not be throwing them anywhere too dangerous and a bit pricey to lose.

The zx lures are awesome and i don't think you get as snagged either. In my book they’re better than any another other vibe. However, I had the biggest bream I’d ever caught (45ish +) on one and as I was lifting it out of the water the hook came out. This was partly my fault as I didn’t have a net and wasn’t in a position to get down to the water. Saying that I think they’re still awesome.

Zx boss haha. And they are tops, my favourite squire/snapper lure going round. And they are pretty good on the snags as well

The zx vibes are pretty good. I've had a few issues with the hooks snapping when trying to remove from fish, but I think thats me being heavy handed more than anything else.

I like to use the zx style hooks on other vibes more so than just the ecogear range!
