Exclamation what side of the bow?

does anyone have any preference as to which side of the bow to set the minn kota up ;ie easy to liftup with left or right hand .

when i get mine just curious to see what people prefer.

Put it on the same side as the rear driving position so that if your at the rear of the boat you can still see the head past the other fisher.It makes it easier to drive with the foot control from the rear of the boat.

Another thing to consider too is to have it opposite side of the boat to your transducer to eliminate the chance of bubbles.
My friend changed sides just because the interference the bubbles caused when lecky motoring around looking for snags.
