Daiwa Steez 2004 vs Shimano soare

Hi guys what are your thoughts on the Daiwa steeze 2004 or the Shimano soare?

Both around the similar price range but not sure which one to go for?

Cheers

hey mate,

although the soare's are nice, there are a few things to keep in mind.

The soare PGS and HGS only come in 1000 and 2500 size respectively, however there is a difference in sizing with shimano and daiwa and the 2500 soare has roughly the same spool size as a 2004 exist, but the weight is the difference.

A 2500 HGS has 30 grams on the steez.

The soare's also have less ball bearings, which isnt such a big deal up at that price range as both reels are awesome, but id have to say go the steez. I love mine to bits and although i love the look of soares, i reckon the steez looks better

G Factor hit the nail on the head. Go the steez mate. Have put mine through its paces the last couple years and this been right up to the task.
