and if it does, what "flavour"??

ive never used it but am interested to see everyone opinion of it

on the 11th my dad used the sents and caught a flattie.we used the k-grub 1 tail 4.5cm from the livin bait series by kokoda.we got them from big W.

I think it helps myself for sure most of the time. There are days when the fish are on the chew & unscented go just as well as scented. Opinions on this vary a lot but one thing I think everyone agrees on is that using scent can't hurt.

I have been using aniseed but recently changed to Spike It in gamefish & I have been getting results without having to dip the plastic every few casts like I did with aniseed oil.

If nothing else scents cover undesirable 'human smells'. I have been using the Spike-It Garlic scent for a while now and to tell you the truth, I have not really noticed an increase in the numbers of fish caught. But like Ravin mentioned, it can't hurt

ive only ever used a couple of scented plastics and dont find them
any better than unscented plastics.

I think its mainly colour that determines whether fish will take
them or not.

Hi Cody

Like you Im not totally convinced that the scent produced is the key factor in a bream striking. have a look at the whole bream series im unsure to if they can add scents to the lure or use burley. But the fundamental thing is that bite is induced by sight not smell.

With all that said if you leave yor soft plastics, flies or lures sitting around in a pool of fuel i wouldnt eat it.

Not totally conviced smell is key but it cant hurt.
