Hi, I am just really getting into bream fishing, I am keen to get some hardbodied lures to use but will I also be able to use them for fish like redfin, trout.

Yes most of today's Japanese designed lures will work on a multitude of fish species.
Some good starters are: Crankas, Atomic Hardz, Maria Cranks, Ecogear SX-40s, Berkley 3Bs & Jackall chubbies.
Check out the sites sponsors, you'll find most of those mentioned plus many more.
Cheers

Budget lures are great to start off with as it allows you a sense of...."I can chuck my lure there even though i might lose it", which is the turning point for wether you like to keep your hard-earned or give it to sticks, mulloway, tailor, jacks WHATEVER!! Atomic Hardz, Berkley 3B range, Marias and the humble halcos are all great to start off with!!
My first bream came from a Lure in the 3B range, the Subdog.

what the others have mentioned will do fine. it's best to try and stick with the lures in that $10-$15 range first so you have a bit more confidence flicking them tight against structure. strike pro pygmy's, the R2S range, Stiffy's and halco's would be a great starting point.
hope this helped

Really depends on where you are planning on using the Hardbods. If your going to be ficking them at structure then it depends on how confident you are with your casting. If your not all that confident then i would not go buying expensive lures or lures in the 10-$15range even.

Go to Kmart and buy a heap of Kokoda Sprogs and cast away, they will still catch Bream and you won't feel like crying everytime you lose one. Even if you don't catch fish it is still good practice.

If all that i have said is not relevant because you are already confident fishing heavy structure then ignore all that i have said and spend away on all of the above mentioned lures.

If you don't mind waiting for a bit, check out the bream master classifieds, as some bargains come up from time to time. Plenty of top $$$ lures, going out for $8-$10, even less.

If you want to buy lures from the store, check out the boating, camping and fishing chains as they often have 2 for deals - 2 atomic hardz for $20 or something like that.

Cranka, Jackall, Smith, Luckycraft, ecogear are all names to look out for
