i-pilot feed back?

Hi All,
I'm looking into upgrading my motorguide 55lb to a newer and better electric, Can anyone give me some feedback on the i-pilot and the options out there in electrics?

Thanks Again
Drew

just buy it, spot lock is awesome, record a track with cruise control always impresses people that haven't seen i-pilot before (dont even have to touch the hand control or foot pedal for up to 3 klm's). Advanced auto piot will keep the boat on the heading you program in and will automatically adjust for wind, drift and current to make sure you stay on the preset heading. There are so many features best thing I put on my boat.

Yep, I'll 2nd what pyrorico said. I find it more complete with the foot pedal. Though make sure it's the Terrova model, as it's the only one that the foot pedal can be added to.

buy it!!best investment i've made on the boat.to be able to stop at a spot, press spot lock, and just fish ,is amazing, even though you have to take a hand off the rod to do it.

Thanks guys, Ive owned both motorguide and minn kota and was always impressed with the never stop, but it sounds like there is only one clear winner, terrova/i-pilot sounds like the goods. Is the terrova a salt water model, or have you ever had problems with the salt for the terrova?

Thanks
Drew
