TD Sensor Knots

Gday all,

Recently spooled up a new reel with some 6lb sensor braid, Im very happy with it, Im getting much longer casts. But... Every, say 150-200 casts, my lure goes flying off, with the leader snapping off at the joining knot. I have a feeling the braid is cutting the leader but im not 100% sure. Ive tried a double uni knot and another one I dont know the name of, its similar to a slim beatuy. For that one I also doubled the braid and did 11 wraps...

So, does anybody else have this issue and if so how did you go about solving it??

Cheers!

I've been using this braid for over a year now with 5lb leader. I tie a simple 5 turn surgeons knot and have never had an issue.

sounds like you should test your knots more before you cast man!

TD sensor in .6 is my favorite braid for breamming and light luring. 8 turn allbright (8 up and 8 back) has been the go for me. does this to jigheads with 6lb leader.

cheers
