Question Sounders

Anyone out there using fish finders, if so any feedback on performance/set would be appreciated.

I presently use a Hummingbird 3D with side looking capability, is anyone using similar?

Would not be caught dead without one. I have been using the Lowrance LCX-15MT and it is simply the best I have ever used and seen, thats is without going to colour. Yes I do work for Lowrance, but that is beside the point. If there was something similar, better or more expensive then I would have it. Even if it were Humminbird, Navman, Furuno etc etc. Most anglers who have been in my boat now own one.

Can't say enough about them.

Fantastic for sounding bream in holes etc.

There not cheap, mine with the GPS is around $3000. Sounder only retails for around $2300. But it pays for itself every time the boat is on the water. Go to Lowrance site and look up LCX-15MT, and download the demo. It is a full working unit and it allows you to play around with it. The display is not as good on your pc as it is in real life.

Steve are you in Perth.

Yeah,
I spoke to you at Ascot Waters 2 weekends ago, I was the guy trolling around the limestone wall while you cast into the boat pens,
I also spoke to you today at Allsports, enquired about Mustard fly connectors.

I could see you were working, didn't want to get in the way.
A couple of flatties along the wall on Saturday.
I went back on Sunday to finish exploring the rest of the place, when my arm got tired of casting and no fish, I trolled the wall for 3 more flatties
