Live Well

Hi Guys,

Chasing some info on installing a portable livewell in my 4m Brooker Trekker. I know there a lots of knowledgeable people out there who could steer me in the right direction.

What material would be best suited for a portable live well?

Size?

Associated plumbing and hardware?

Placement?

Thanks

Gavin

Last year I did fine with an 80L Esky (Coleman) and a perspex divider in the middle of it - I used a recirculating pump like the one in the picture below, wired to plug into a lighter socket. You could just put alligator clips on if you like.

The biggest hassle was filling it, but a bucket does the job - do a couple of water changes during the day and everything should be sweet.

Cheers,
