Are the rules the same as last year??

It would be nice to see the boundaries removed so that we can see some big bags of squid come in to the weigh station!

There was talk about a Busselton and Albany round also sometime ,it would be good we can get 3 rounds during the year plus the Grand Final in Perth one day, the W.A Squid Classic,,maybe the bigger tackle shops can each sponsor a location and organise things, the Japenese have tournaments so it would be nice if we could get the Squid tournament scene up and running.

We see huge bags of squid each round, last Classic was the best yet in the boats

Just be sastified with winning you don't need bigger ones

But i would be against the idea,,it means the rich with the bigger boats can go out further and the familys on a budget with smaller boats will not stand a chance,,

That is a pretty good point too I guess.

Having a set boundary does give it a bit more of a sporting chance for everyone.

Just bring on a busselton round. I know a spot where there are the big arrow buggers and fairly plentiful plus its real close to the shore. We had a casual squid comp day down there and everyone got into some really nice squid, plus shore based people have a perfectly good jetty to squid from

Busselton would be a perfect place, a huge grassed Espanade with toilets and shop and plenty of beach for folks to pull kayaks and boats up onto for the start and weighin and close enough from Perth and Bunbury etc for every one to make the trip down,,bring it on
