Stradic 4000 or 5000?

What size Stradic for a starlo stix 4-8kg? currently with a sienna 4000. Should i get a 4000 or a 5000 Stradic, the sienna fells too light for the rod, is there much weigth difference between a Sienna and a Stradic, or should i just go the 5000

Cheers Bez

I'd go the 5000 mate,I've caught stripped tuna on my 4000 and the drag has trouble stopping the bigger fellers,I had to use my fingers to stop the spool spinning of at a thousand miles a second.

4000 n 5000 share the same body n only different is the spool....right?.its the same case in the previous model.....the FD sustain n FH stradic.want a bit more drags...........go greased c/f washers instead of the oe white whatever washers.

Stradic 4000 = 329 grams
Stradic 5000 = 390 grams
Sienna 4000 = 350 grams

Go the Stradic 5000 mate, extra line capacity and extra drag for only a tad more weight.

Currently looking at getting one myself.
