The Mu's are great lures, I have caught plenty of Bream, school mulloway, Salmon trout and flat head on them:

I have had huge amounts of success on the MU's over the last few years using most colours, I have found them very useful on spooky bream and on pressured waters I think it has to do with the subtle action when worked slow with the odd twitch.
They cast a mile and suspend, unless you get the slow sinking model but, either way they are affordable and very diversable in how you can work them.

Damiki MU-SP are an awsome lure, I have every colour in my lure box - they cast a mile, nice subtle action to them. A must have lure for windy days! All colours work well for me but the 213 and 217 are stand out performers.

The MU has been discontinued the Damiki MU-SP is still available.

ive found them to be great for whiting over the flats,
cast a mile and a constant slow to medium retreive and whack....

They have a very "average" swimming action.

But, they do seem to catch fish.... somehow.

You need to give them a good rip in order to get the intended action out of them.

Fish them as a Jerkbait rather then a crank, despite it's chubby profile.

As Paps said the MU-SP 45 is a jerkbait and the best results are when used as such. A standard cast and retrieve will have less success due to its tight swimming action. I tend to you them with a fairly agressive jerking action with 3-5 second pauses on flats because it suits my style of fishing.

there is a short video on my website showing it being used as a jerkbait
