What is the best bargain you have picked up.

Just wondering what is the best bargain you have picked up and for how much. From say a garage sale, cash converters etc. Im sure some people have bought something from someone that had no idea of what it was worth or just didnt care. Cant wait to hear of some great scores

One of my best mates first car was a 1978 mustang. Payed $6k for it. Messy divorce and the wife sold the hubbys car incredibly cheap out of spite. Luckyest buy I have heard of yet!!

A shimano TSS4 and a Penn US 850 for $180 for both from classifieds. Mint condition with braid. Auctioned the US Penn on gBay and got $200 for it.
TSS4 is now costing -$20
THEN
Bought after market sealed bearings for $40.
Out of pure luck...
Found a brand new TSS4 in warehouse sale for $120.
Swapped bearings i.e. Sealed ones in new one, new original ones in 2nd hand one, ya with me?
Sold 2nd hand one on Gbay for $120.
Result Brand new high speed TSS4 (LBG LEGEND) with sealed aftermarket bearings for $20!
Makes up for some ofthe lures, plugs and spinners I have donated King Neptune!

I got a brand new 7'2" Pflueger Trion Tournament from a tackle store for $59 and I also got a brand new Abu Revo Premier 30 off a mate for $150.

Also still a bargain but an expensive one I got a 702 T-Curve Flight and 1500 Certate for just under $500

Am very happy with all of them.

Had plenty of good fishing buys, but in the last few months the best would have to have been 2 black magic snapper packs @ $2 each!

Each pack had 2 snapper snatchers, 40lb leader, 5/0 hooks, 6/0 hooks, rolling swivels, a bait jig and a beanie!
