Gekkabijin MX 2004

Hey all,

Anyone tried these new Daiwa reels? Any feedback?
I'm looking at selling my 2500 Saros and getting something more lightweight and suited to lightweight bream fishing.
I don't really like using anything more than 4lb line these days and i think a light reel like this would be perfect.

Ray and Annes have these for $199 and they also have the new Ema Infeet:

Mods, please delete if posting links like this is not allowed.

Cheers,
Chris

Considering one myself.... fushlups, the other topics are a little older and now those who own them have had a chance to use them a bit. I think opinions now may be different from then.

Gekkabijin MX

It's light, smooth and good looking.
apart from all of that is well price if you can get it for less than 200 bucks.
But if I'm not mistaken it comes from Daiwa's factory in Vietnam.

If you have save up a bit, better of getting the Daiwa gekkabijin 2004 (JDM)
the one with zaion body as the handle is screw in with the main gear like the other upper tier of daiwa products.

hope that may help.

And the lower, even lowest, tier within other brands.
