New Member Royalwullf

Hi,
I'm a new member, very good information on the site. I read some articles from the www.fishraider.com site, recommended in a post, on soft plastics and learnt alot.

Cheers to all, I am a fly fisherman, mainly for trout, but I am now catching Flathead with SP's and look forward to targeting Bream.

I mainly walk the banks, but have a boat and hope to get it waterworthy soon.

Good Luck
Royalwulff

Sydney mate, Sutherland shire, near some nice estuary systems. I hope to get out early in the morning but we have had some good rain and a southerly come through, so maybe wait a couple of days.
Cheers

Welcome RoyalWulf,

I was going to guess you were a fly fisher with a title like that.

Fly fishing rocks, had my first go in Tas recently for trout, loved it.
Will be back there in Jan.

This forum/website is great, the guys at the online shop are very helpful and their service is top notch.

Soft plastics are new for me also, I've been a HB lure fisher for years now and old habits are hard to break, I have a bit of a chuck with the SP's when I go out these days but still catch most of my fish on HB's, probably because I'm more confident with them.

I'm yet to try fly fishing in the "salt", I'll have a go soon though.
My setup is only a 6/7 weight though.

Have a ball

Bierdo
