Zipbait Rigge MD 56ss

Just thought I would share some thoughts on these. Since I have been in Tassie I have tried them out at a few places Like Sthellens, Ansons Bay and the Derwent.
With a line that is very slack they will sink horizontal, about 5 spm and with slight tension on the line they sink slightly butt first.
I found them to work very well on shallow sand flats with current running over them, rock walls and weed bed edges. In still water a twitch, twitch, purse action seemed to work the best.
On a slow retrieve, they have a slow, tight action. Good for when working in current.
The two colours I have been playing with are the 015 and 810

Just a couple of shots.

Thats the life Don , Tassies one of my favourite places .

I brought a couple at the Bream Expo , never used them yet but am hopeing they catch a few fish down in Albany in a couple weeks, mine are 56 f so i am not sure i got the best ones and was only taking notice of the colours (trout and carmin)and not whether they sink or float,,

Enjoy the rest of the Great Tassie Adventure,,

The Rigge 56F still take plenty of fish Shorty so still a good choice for Albany, probably a bit more of a tighter action on the floating versions and can still be twitched etc
