Havent used the mirashad but the rip n' minnow work OK down here, in both the shallow and deep models. They look big but work good for me. I have a couple of the mirashads but havent used them that much yet Matt

Yep, I've used them. They are great little lures, with a good action at slow speed. I've had good success with most colours (love that holographic look), but the gold/orange and also a kind of metallic goldy green colour seem to be the best colours for me at least.
They are fairly shallow divers, but I guess they get down to around 1.5m on a slow retrieve. Deeper than oargees and attacks, but shallower than R2S's. Cheers James.
